I am an experienced macroeconomist. I work as a modelling expert in the New Zealand Treasury.

Previously I worked as an economist at the Reserve Bank of New Zealand and the Central Bank of Turkey.

My current research interests are:

• Effect of an ageing population on productivity and fiscal sustainability,

•  Intergenerational and other distributional effects of monetary and fiscal policy,

• Computation of heterogeneous-agent overlapping generations models with multiple assets and aggregate uncertainty,

• Endogenous separation and job rationing in dynamic-stochastic general equilibrium models with search and matching in labor market,

• Macroeconomic effects of unemployment insurance, 

• High-frequency indicators to forecast house price inflation

• Labor market flows and wage inflation,

• Monetary and fiscal policy coordination.
